Train Horror at Turnham Green: Passenger Struck Just After 7pm
Chaos erupted on the District line last night after a person was hit by a train near Turnham Green Underground Station. The incident happened shortly after 7pm on November 1st, sparking an immediate emergency response.
British Transport Police Rush to Scene
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “We were called to Turnham Green following reports a person had been struck by a train. Officers from BTP and the Met, along with other emergency services, quickly arrived and found the injured person on the tracks.”
Train Services Halted, Stations Shut
- All trains stopped from Stamford Brook on the Piccadilly line.
- Trains that had passed Stamford Brook were driven backwards to the station.
- Turnham Green Terrace has been closed off to the public.
