Man Charged with Double Murder in NW8
Lee Peacock, 49, from Harrow Road, W9, has been charged with the murders of Sharon Pickles and Clinton Ashmore. He is currently held in custody and will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 30 August.
Tragic Discoveries in Ashbridge Street and Jerome Crescent
Police were called to an address in Ashbridge Street, NW8, at 9.30pm on Thursday, 19 August, after concerns were raised for the welfare of the occupants. Inside, officers found 45-year-old Sharon Pickles dead at the scene.
Just hours later, at 2.15am on Friday, 20 August, officers were alerted by the London Ambulance Service to a second address nearby in Jerome Crescent, NW8. There they found 59-year-old Clinton Ashmore, also pronounced dead at the scene.
