£100 Stolen in Broad Daylight Robbery on Margate High Street
At around 9.20pm on Sunday, April 17, 2022, trouble hit Marine Gardens when a man snatched a phone and wallet from a victim before demanding cash at a nearby ATM.
Victim Fights Back but Ends Up Attacked
The victim refused to hand over cash. The thief started to walk away, but when the victim chased him to get his belongings back, he was assaulted on Margate High Street.
Thief Makes Off With £100 and Cards
The suspect escaped with £100 in cash, a mobile phone, and a credit card.
Police Hunt Robbery Suspect
Kent Police have released a CCTV image of the man behind the robbery. Anyone who recognises him should call 01843 222289 quoting case number 46/71801/22.
