A disqualified driver faces jail after a thrilling police chase in a stolen car on the Isle of Wight this Tuesday.

High-Speed Pursuit Through Quiet Villages

At around 11.30am, cops signalled a Ford Fiesta to stop following reports it had been stolen. Instead of obeying, the driver took off, tearing through the sleepy country lanes of Adgestone, Winford, and Alverstone.

Crash Ends Wild Ride

The chase ended abruptly when the driver lost control and smashed into a wooden fence on Borthwood Lane. Police quickly arrested the 28-year-old man from Ventnor at the scene.

Man Arrested on Multiple Charges

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman confirmed the man is in custody, charged with making off from police, theft of the vehicle, driving while disqualified, and driving without insurance. He is set to be questioned and brought before court soon.
