Paedophile Jailed for Preying on Vulnerable 13-Year-Old Girl via TikTok

Social Media Predator Busted

A Doncaster man, Mehmet Yumusak, has been locked up for using TikTok and Likee to groom a vulnerable 13-year-old girl with learning difficulties. The victim’s worried mum reported the disturbing chats to police after spotting her daughter talking to an older man known as “MT.”

Sickening Messages Revealed

Yumusak’s messages were chilling. He openly discussed dating the young girl, invited her to his home, and sent creepy lines like “love you” and “miss you.” Fully aware of the huge age gap, he pushed her to send explicit photos, then told her to delete all their conversations.

Justice Served at Sheffield Crown Court

The 46-year-old, from Balby Bridge’s Camden Place, was caught after sending pictures linked to the victim. Police seized his devices and forensic experts confirmed his guilt. Yumusak pleaded guilty to sexual communication with a child and causing a girl aged 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity (without penetration).

Last Thursday (11 July), he was sentenced to one year behind bars. Meanwhile, charges of making indecent images and possessing extreme porn were left on file, with Yumusak denying those.

Long-Term Protection for Victim

Yumusak also received a 10-year restraining order banning any contact with the girl, plus a Sexual Harm Prevention Order forbidding him from using any device that can access the internet.

Investigations Officer Fiona Booth said: “Yumusak targeted a vulnerable young girl unaware of the dangers of chatting with older men online. She thought he was a friend, but his motives were sinister. Thanks to the victim and her family’s support, we exposed his predatory behaviour and stopped him from threatening others.”
