Dover Man Faces Six Burglary and Theft Charges

Jason McRobbie, 34, from Squires Way, Dover, was nabbed on Monday 20 August. He now faces six charges, including stealing two charity boxes right in the heart of the town.

Multiple thefts span shops, museum and hospital

  • Stole a box and a can of cider from a shop in Bewsbury Cross Lane on 17 August
  • Pinched a can of cider from the same shop on 27 July
  • Snatched a camera from a Whitfield museum on 16 June
  • Grabbed a charity box from a hotel on Deal Road on 29 July
  • Burgled a purse and cash from the staff room at Buckland Hospital on 18 August

Next stop: Folkestone Magistrates’ Court

Jason McRobbie has been bailed and will face the music at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on 15 September. The Dover community will be watching closely as his trial unfolds.
