Dozy Builder Dumps Asbestos Flower Boxes Outside Nursery!
Asbestos Danger Outside Southsea School
Flower boxes containing asbestos have been dumped outside Embassy Court in Bramble Road, Southsea. The boxes were removed from the building’s windows by an inattentive builder and left on the pavement—right where children walk every day.
Kids at Risk Near Nursery and Schools
The pavement spot is a busy route for children attending Brambles Nursery, a nearby school, and Priory School just a short stroll away. Concerned local mum contacted us, worried about the hazard on her children’s route.
“I would like to know about it if these were on my route to dropping my kids off,” she said. “The building’s managing agent confirmed the boxes contain asbestos but wouldn’t say when they’ll be collected. They only said the collection is ‘in hand.’”
Stay Alert, Stay Safe
We urge locals to be aware of this health risk. Share this warning and keep an eye out for asbestos materials dumped in public spaces—especially near children.
