Woman Arrested in Michael Freshwater Murder Probe
Detectives have swooped again in the Michael Freshwater murder case, arresting a 30-year-old woman from Southampton on suspicion of perverting the course of justice. This follows the arrest of a 25-year-old man yesterday, who has since been bailed until July 6.
Eight Arrests So Far in Murder Investigation
Michael Freshwater’s body was found at a Southampton home on Westridge Road just after 4:15pm on Friday, April 29. Since then, police have made eight arrests linked to the case as they dig deeper for answers.
Detectives Plead for Public Help
Senior Investigating Officer Detective Superintendent Becky Riggs said: “We are pursuing every lead to understand exactly what happened that day in Westridge Road. We’ve arrested several people and are deploying major resources to gather evidence and secure justice for Michael and his family.”
She added: “We continue to appeal for information and encourage anyone who can help to contact us confidentially.”
