Neighbours’ CCTV Claim Over Murdered Lucy Rubbished by Family
The tragic last moments of Lucy Dyson, murdered mother of two, are at the centre of a fierce dispute. A neighbour, whose identity is being kept private, claimed to have captured Lucy’s desperate screams on CCTV as her killer struck. But Lucy’s family have slammed these claims as false.
CCTV Footage Under Scrutiny
Lucy’s home on Suffolk Road, Andover, remains sealed off as forensic experts comb through the property. The neighbour told media he reviewed CCTV footage that allegedly caught the harrowing scene, with Lucy yelling “Get off me” before the audio abruptly cuts out and police rush to the address.
What the Footage Really Shows
In reality, the audio on the CCTV captured Lucy’s sister arriving at the house, shouting at the accused to “get off her sister” on that fatal night. The accused killer is still in custody, suspected of murder, leaving two children motherless.
Witnesses Speak Out
- A night worker returning home just after 2am described the street as eerily quiet, only noticing the distressing audio after reviewing the footage.
- Other neighbours claim they heard a violent argument around 6am and called the police immediately.
Family Plea and Police Appeal
Lucy’s family have asked for privacy to grieve and urged the public to allow police to carry out their investigation unimpeded. They also appealed for anyone with information to come forward. A formal family statement and tribute will be shared in due course.
