Six Homes Devoured by Massive Blaze in Stoneleigh
A ferocious fire tore through six properties after erupting just after 7pm on Saturday in Stoneleigh, near Epsom, Surrey. The blaze started when a roof caught fire and quickly spread to neighbouring homes along Rembrandt Court.
Roof and First Floor Engulfed
The flames rapidly consumed the roof and first floor of the initial house, before jumping to adjacent properties. Several residents were forced to evacuate as fire crews battled the growing inferno.
Huge Fire Response Underway
- Firefighters dispatched from Banstead, Leatherhead, London Fire Brigade, Surbiton, New Malden, and Wallington are at the scene
- An aerial ladder platform from Leatherhead is tackling the blaze from above
- Surrey Police have closed the road in both directions for public safety
Emergency teams continue firefighting efforts as the blaze rages on. Authorities warn locals to avoid the area while operations are ongoing.
