40-Year-Old Joanne Penney Killed in Front of Neighbours
Joanne Penney, 40, was declared dead at the scene after emergency services rushed to the Llys Maelwg block in Green Park at around 6.10pm on Sunday, March 9. Neighbours reported hearing a single gunshot just moments before armed police swarmed the estate.
The mother-of-one, believed to have a 10-year-old son, had only recently moved into the flat to stay with a friend. A 42-year-old man from Talbot Green has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
