Tragic Scene on Aldwick Road
An ambulance raced to Aldwick Road at 8:37am, but medics could only confirm the baby girl was dead on arrival. Suminaite was rushed to St Richard’s Hospital for urgent care.
Arrest Made, No Further Suspects
After being released from hospital, Suminaite was arrested on suspicion of murder and charged. She is set to face Crawley Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 11 April. Police say no one else is being sought in connection with the case.
