Luke Crowcroft, 30, from Doncaster, got the harshest blow: two and a half years behind bars plus a 10-year Criminal Behaviour Order. CCTV caught him red-handed trying to overturn a police van packed with officers and a police dog. Though he kept mum during the questioning, the evidence was damning enough for him to plead guilty to violent disorder.

- Ashley Lowe, 19, from Barnsley, was sent to a young offender institution for two years and two months. He was seen kicking riot shields and hurling objects during the chaos.
- Ben Beardsley, 38, wore a full-face mask but was recognised by tip-offs and sentenced to two years and eight months. He threw rocks at officers.

- Callum Smith, 23, who tried to conceal himself with a balaclava, also scored two years and eight months after being caught on CCTV kicking riot shields and attacking a police van.
