Five Drivers Slapped with Fines and Bans After Dangerous Driving Spree
Police swooped on a group of drivers committing road offences, cracking down on reckless behaviour behind the wheel.
Fines, Bans, and Penalty Points – The Full List
- Daniel Skinner, 24, from Long Row, Tibenham, avoided naming the driver involved. He’s banned from driving for 18 months and hit with a £400 fine, plus £105 costs and a £160 victim surcharge.
- Tye Caldwell, 21, of Wilsons Square, Harleston, also failed to identify a driver. He faces the same 18-month ban, a £369 fine, £105 costs, and a £148 victim surcharge.
- Lewis England, 25, from Rodwell Corner, Cawston, pleaded guilty to careless driving. He received four penalty points and a £166 fine, along with £105 costs and a £34 victim surcharge.
- Wilson Potter, 19, of Magdalen Road, Eye, was fined £133 with four penalty points, plus £105 costs and a £34 victim surcharge for driving without due care and attention.
- Kyran George, 20, from Raymond Road, Norwich, got the same treatment: four points, a £130 fine, £105 costs, and a £34 victim surcharge.
Police Warn: Reckless Drivers Will Be Prosecuted
Sgt Ade Hales stressed, “We are not targeting genuine car enthusiasts as we understand they are not interested in participating in reckless behaviour.”
He added, “We will continue to prosecute those who pose a risk to their own safety and the safety of those around them.”
