Brutal Attack on Netherfield Street Ends in Jail for Two
Two men were locked up after viciously beating a 35-year-old man in Netherfield. The victim was found curled up on the floor, being punched and kicked on Pearson Street. Officers on patrol sprang into action and gave chase after the suspects fled in different directions.
Swift Police Action Nets Quick Arrests
The suspects didn’t get far. Police caught up with Daniel Marrett, 27, of Mora Road, and Jordy Mumbiny, 26, from Wembley, London, arresting both within minutes of the attack on 22 September 2021. The victim suffered a swollen face and a cut to his head that had to be glued at hospital.
Sentenced for Assault Causing Actual Bodily Harm
- Daniel Marrett was jailed for 13 months.
- Jordy Mumbiny got 12 months behind bars.
Both men pleaded guilty at Nottingham Crown Court on 18 March 2022.
