Man Banged Up for Sexual Assault and Extreme Porn in Wraysbury
Anthony Pledger, 44, from Ashford, Surrey, was slammed with a three-year jail term at Reading Crown Court on Thursday (24/9). He’s been slapped on the Sex Offenders Register for life.
Guilty Verdict After Four-Day Trial
A jury found Pledger guilty of sexual assault after a four-day trial. He also copped to possession of extreme pornography.
Detective Constable Ross Fleming revealed the sick details: “Pledger sexually assaulted the victim while she was asleep in a Wraysbury home back in 2017.”
Shocking Evidence Uncovered
Police found disturbing extreme porn images on Pledger’s phone during their probe.
“The victim showed real courage throughout the investigation and court ordeal. She made it clear she never gave consent and Pledger had no right to touch her,” said DC Fleming.
Justice Served Thanks to Brave Victim and Witnesses
DC Fleming thanked everyone who helped bring Pledger to justice.
“Without the victim’s bravery and the witnesses’ support, he might never have faced jail. Thames Valley Police are committed to treating all sexual offence reports seriously,” he added.
If you’ve been a victim, no matter when it happened, police urge you to come forward. “You will be listened to and supported,” they said.
