Cop Caught Throwing Bin at Ex’s Car Gets Slap on the Wrist

The drama unfolded off-duty on 2 January 2022. Booker-Keep was arrested and faced charges of criminal damage.
Fast-Tracked Misconduct Hearing
On July 15, Deputy Commissioner Helen Ball oversaw an accelerated misconduct hearing. After reviewing the evidence, PC Booker-Keep was deemed to have breached professional standards. The Metropolitan Police acted swiftly once Kent Police’s investigation came to light.
Three-Month Conditional Discharge and Barred from Policing
- On June 8, at Brighton Magistrates’ Court, Booker-Keep pleaded guilty.
- He received a three-month conditional discharge.
- Ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £22 victim surcharge.
