Four Charged Over Brutal Harrow Transphobic Attack

Detectives in Harrow have cracked down hard, charging four suspects after a vicious transphobic assault on Masons Avenue left an 18-year-old girl with stab wounds. Thankfully, the victim has been discharged from hospital.

The Accused: Who’s Facing Charges?

  1. Summer Betts-Ramsey (19)
    • Arrested on Sunday, 11 February.
    • Charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
    • Due in court at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, 12 March.
  2. 16-Year-Old Girl (B)
    • Arrested on 28 February.
    • Charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, robbery, and possession of cannabis.
    • Set to appear at the Old Bailey tomorrow.
  3. 17-Year-Old Boy
    • Charged on 7 March.
    • Accused of grievous bodily harm with intent, disclosing sexual images, and threatening the victim with a knife in a private location.
  4. Second 17-Year-Old Boy
    • Charged on 8 March.
    • Allegedly involved in grievous bodily harm with intent.

Next Steps for the Defendants

The two 17-year-old boys have been remanded in custody. They will appear alongside others at the Old Bailey on Friday, 5 April.
