Burnley Takeaway Turned Bloody Battlezone in Machete Mayhem

Police were rushed to a takeaway on Elm Street at 8.20pm on December 30, 2020, after reports of a violent brawl.

Witnesses were left shocked to find the shop’s door window smashed to smithereens with blood and shattered glass splattered across the floor.

Machete Madness and Barbell Bashing Caught on CCTV

CCTV footage revealed the terrifying chaos inside. John Reynolds charged into the shop wielding a machete, chased by a mob of furious men.

He slammed the door shut behind him, but Alamzeb Anwar wasn’t having it — he smashed the window with a hefty barbell.

The gang then went berserk, using the barbell and a spirit level to batter the door, hurling anything they could find inside until Reynolds was disarmed.

Fifteen attackers, including Anwar, Mohammed Khan, Faisal Khan, Abdul Basit, and Muhammad Hanzhalah, then launched a savage assault on Reynolds while he lay on the floor.
