Four Men Held Over Fatal Stabbing in East Ham
Four men have been charged following the fatal stabbing of a 28-year-old man in East Ham.
- Rayhan Yasin Ali, 18, of Abbots Road, East Ham
- Harry Ehibor, 20, of Chalk Farm Road, Camden
- Saeed Farouk, 21, of Macaulay Road, East Ham
- Junaid Sulaiman, 20, of Prince Regent Lane, Newham
All four were remanded in custody and are set to appear via virtual hearing at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, 5 January.
Man Stabbed to Death on Stondon Walk
Police were called to Stondon Walk, East Ham, at 3:18pm on Tuesday, 29 December, after reports of an assault. Paramedics and officers arrived to find a 28-year-old man, later identified as Abiola Akerele, stabbed in the heart. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s family is receiving support from specialist officers as the investigation continues.
Teenager Questioned and Released on Bail
A 17-year-old girl arrested on suspicion of murder on Friday, 1 January, has been released on bail until late January.
