Four Teens Busted After Eastbourne Bike Heist

Police have arrested four teenagers linked to a daring motorcycle theft in Eastbourne on Friday, 30 June. A Honda motorbike was snatched in the early hours from New Road, heading towards Longstone Road at around 2.25am.

Quick Police Response Nabs Suspects

Although officers initially failed to find the stolen bike or suspects, a tip-off at 5.10am from the public put police back on the trail. They spotted a group with the motorcycle on Longstone Road. When police arrived, the youths took off running.

A foot chase ended with all four being caught near Dursley Road and New Road.

Teens in Custody Over Motorbike Theft

  • Three Eastbourne lads aged 14, 16, and 19 arrested
  • One 15-year-old from Worthing also detained
  • 15-year-old released on conditional bail
  • Others remain in custody

All four face charges of stealing a motor vehicle. Police continue to investigate the incident.
