Aylesbury Man Jailed Over Crack, Heroin, and Knife Charges
A man from Aylesbury has been locked up for more than five years after being caught with drugs and a knife.
Cyruss Francis, 34, of Friarage Road, was convicted at Aylesbury Crown Court last Friday (18/9). The jury found him guilty of possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin, possession of cannabis, and carrying a knife.
Suspicious Behaviour Leads to Arrest
Police spotted Francis acting suspiciously in Friarscroft Way at around 8:20 pm on 11 March 2020. Plain-clothed officers detained him and found a stash of drugs and a knife. A search of his Friarage Road home uncovered cannabis.
Five Years and Four Months Behind Bars
Francis was sentenced to five years and four months in prison for his crimes.
“This was a very successful case against a man who not only had a knife but also was found guilty of possession with intent to supply two class A drugs,” said Detective Constable Laurie Twine from the Stronghold Team at Aylesbury police station.
“Tackling drug supply is a top priority for Thames Valley Police. We are dedicated to disrupting organised crime to keep our communities safe.”
