Harrow Man Caught in Pedo Sting Jailed for Over Three Years
A Harrow man has been locked up for more than three years after being caught in a chilling child grooming sting. Suresh Varsani, 27, pleaded guilty to a string of sickening offences involving children under 13 and teens.
Groomer Caught After Sending Explicit Messages
Varsani, from Harrow Road, HA9, admitted trying to cause a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity between 21 August and 9 September. He also attempted sexual communication and tried to get the child to watch a sex act. Separately, he admitted similar offences involving a child aged 13 or over between 19 and 31 August.
Sting Operation Led to Arrest
Police swooped on Varsani on 9 September after members of the public, posing online as a 12-year-old girl named Mollie Banner and an older girl Amber Jones, passed on vital information.
The predator had sent explicit images and messages to both ‘Mollie’ and ‘Amber’, sealing his fate.
