Arson Suspected in College Court Fire

Detectives are on the case after a fire ripped through College Court flats on Northcliffe Road, Bognor Regis, in the early hours of 2 February. Police and fire crews rushed to the scene at around 4.36am following reports of the blaze.

Residents Evacuated Safely to Butlins

All occupants from the affected flats were swiftly evacuated with help from local authorities and taken to nearby Butlins. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported.

Forensics and House-to-House Enquiries Underway

The fire is being treated as arson with intent to endanger life. Forensics teams are combing the scene while officers conduct door-to-door enquiries in the neighbourhood, trying to piece together what exactly went down.

Witnesses Urged to Come Forward

Police want anyone who saw suspicious activity or captured footage on CCTV, mobile phones, or doorbell cameras to step forward. Report information online or call 101 quoting serial 157 of 02/02.
