Kent Special Constable Charged with Controlling and Coercive Behaviour

Kent Police have charged Richard Fagg, a 34-year-old Special Constable, with controlling and coercive behaviour. The charge was made public on Wednesday, 8 August 2018.

Arrest and Suspension

Fagg was arrested on 23 March 2018 and suspended from duty immediately. The case has now moved forward with formal charges laid against him.

Upcoming Court Appearance

The Special Constable is set to appear before maidstone/" title="Maidstone" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Maidstone Magistrates Court on 5 September 2018. Kent Police’s Professional Standards Department will conduct a full conduct review once court proceedings conclude.
