Violence and Mayhem Spill onto the Streets
Angry over a rival fan, the group hurled vile abuse at patrons inside. The nightmare escalated as bottles, glasses, and furniture smashed against windows and doors, sending shards of glass flying. Three people suffered minor injuries in the rampage.
Families with children fled in terror as the outrageous attack continued outside the venue.

“These were disgraceful, cowardly acts of violence that caused considerable alarm and distress to the people who witnessed them,” said Detective Constable Rebecca Brosgarth. “The CCTV evidence was utterly damning – showing grown men behaving in a way that should shame every one of them.”
“We put a lot of effort into tracking down the people involved, and I would like to thank every member of the public who gave us the names we needed to take this case forward. As the football season progresses, I hope this incident serves as a reminder to all visitors to our city: if you continue to act this way, we will go to any length to find and prosecute you.”
