Paedophile Andrew Dixon Busted in Undercover Sting
Andrew Dixon, 52, from Linthorpe, Middlesbrough, thought he was meeting a 15-year-old boy for sex. Instead, he walked straight into a police trap.
Sting Operation at Pennywell
Dixon arranged to meet what he believed was a teenage boy in Pennywell. But the “boy” was actually a 15-year-old decoy working with a vigilant sting team. When Dixon arrived, he was immediately confronted by officers and arrested on the spot.
Arrogant and Unrepentant
Dixon showed zero remorse – only arrogance. This wasn’t his first offence. Back in 2007, he indecently assaulted a young girl and distributed horrific images of children as young as two being sexually abused.
Justice Served: 33 Months Behind Bars
Today in court, Dixon was jailed for 33 months. He was also slapped with a lifetime placement on the sex offender register, ensuring he will face supervision for the rest of his life.
The police thank the brave decoys who help catch predators like Dixon before they can harm real children.
