Man Found Guilty of Unprovoked Stabbing Murder in West London

A man has been convicted of murdering a 27-year-old in a brutal, unprovoked stabbing in west London. Sabin Manda, 32, was found guilty on Thursday at Inner London Crown Court for the fatal attack on Bajram Luli in Greenford.

Deadly Dispute Over Drugs Turns Fatal

The horrific stabbing happened on March 11, 2024, following a drug dispute between Manda and Luli. Manda, of Popes Lane, Ealing, claimed self-defence, saying he feared for his life. But police uncovered CCTV footage showing the attack was completely unprovoked — smashing his defence to pieces.

Fugitive Caught After Trying to Dodge Justice

After the attack, Manda vanished, fearful of revenge. Despite going “off the grid,” he was eventually tracked down and arrested by officers. His desperate attempt to escape justice failed.

Detective Praises Team for Cracking the Case

“The investigation team worked long and hard to locate footage that disproved Sabin Manda’s claims of self-defence. This was an unprovoked attack, and Manda will now face many years in prison to consider the consequences of his actions,” said Detective Inspector Adam Guttridge from Specialist Crime South.

DI Guttridge added, “I can only hope his conviction brings some comfort to Bajram’s family.”

Sentencing Set for October

Manda remains in custody and is set to be sentenced on October 11 at Inner London Crown Court. The convicted killer faces a lengthy prison term as Bajram Luli’s loved ones continue to grieve the tragic loss.
