Drug Dealer Caught Red-Handed in Maidenhead Raid
Robert Appleton, 49, from Wessex Way, Maidenhead, has been locked up for 27 months. Reading Crown Court sentenced him on Friday 30 January 2026 for possession with intent to supply cocaine, a Class A drug.
£44,000 of Cocaine and Weapons Seized in Police Bust
Last March, Thames Valley Police stormed Appleton’s home under a Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act warrant. The raid uncovered a stash including:
- An air rifle
- Two deadly samurai swords
- Three mobile phones
- Cannabis plus a grinder
- Cocaine worth a whopping £44,000
Appleton was arrested on the spot and hit with charges.
Police Crackdown Intensifies Against Drug Dealers
“Appleton was supplying class A drugs, showing complete disregard for the law and the harm these substances cause in our communities,” said PC Benjamin Coulson of the Berkshire East Proactive Team. “We’ll keep targeting offenders with both visible patrols and covert tactics to disrupt drug supply.”
