Man and Woman Charged with Murder and Arson in Bromley
A man and woman are set to face Bromley Magistrates’ Court today, charged with murder and arson.
Accused Named: Mayara Loiola Ataide and Gevaldo Tavares Dos Santos
Mayara Loiola Ataide, 34, and Gevaldo Tavares Dos Santos, 46, both homeless, were charged on Wednesday, February 28. They face murder and two counts of arson with intent to endanger life.
They will appear in custody at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday, February 28.
Tragedy Sparks Investigation
The charges follow a fire at a multi-occupancy house on Glenister Park Road. London Fire Brigade responded at 7:07pm on Sunday, February 25. Sadly, a 49-year-old man was found dead inside the property.
The victim’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by family liaison officers.
