Man Faces Court Over Croydon Town Centre Stabbing
Aaron Kane Johnson has appeared in court charged with stabbing an 18-year-old in Croydon town centre.
Stabbing Shakes Croydon Nightlife
The alleged attack happened in the early hours of Sunday, February 9, under the Croydon flyover, close to popular bars and clubs. The victim was knifed near the Soulful Cellar bar on High Street.
Bouncers Rush to Aid Victim
The injured 18-year-old was helped by staff at the door of Story nightclub before being rushed to hospital. Thankfully, his stab wounds are not life-threatening.
Accused Charged and in Custody
Johnson, 22, with no fixed address, was charged on Monday, February 10, with grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
