Man Arrested Over Billy McCullagh Murder
Detectives Nab Suspect in Islington
Police have arrested a 32-year-old man on suspicion of murder in connection with the fatal shooting of 27-year-old Billy McCullagh. The arrest was made at an Islington address early this morning, Friday 21 August.
Murder Probe After Early Morning Shooting
Billy was found with a fatal gunshot wound on Windrush Road, NW10, just after 3am on 16 July. A post-mortem later confirmed the cause of death as a chest wound from a gunshot.
Two Others Bailed in Ongoing Murder Investigation
Earlier arrests included a 19-year-old and a 24-year-old, taken into custody on the night of the shooting. Both have since been released on bail, with return dates set for October.
