Man Shot in Stomach After Heated Row at Enfield Toby Carvery
A man in his 50s was shot in the stomach following an argument at the Toby Carvery in Enfield on Sunday evening. Police and paramedics rushed to the scene just after 7pm after reports of gunfire and injury.
Armed Police Hunt Gunman on the Run
Armed officers launched a swift area search to track down the shooter, who fled before police arrived. The victim was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital, where his condition remains under assessment.
Investigation Underway as Police Appeal for Witnesses
A Met Police spokesman said:
“Police were called by LAS at 7.15pm to Whitewebbs Lane, Enfield, after a man was found with a suspected gunshot injury to his stomach. No arrests have been made so far. Enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with information should call 101, quoting CAD 7351/5 July.”
