Man Charged After Dartford Stabbing

A brutal stabbing in Dartford has led to a wounding with intent charge. The violent incident happened around 6pm on Saturday 17 July in Lowfield Street, involving several men.

A 26-year-old man from Erith suffered a stab wound in the fracas. Police arrested 21-year-old Hinzague Hanson from Zion Place, Gravesend, the following evening. Hanson has been charged with assault and remanded in custody. He is due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 20 July 2021.

Victim Also Under Arrest Amid Drug Probe

The stabbing victim was also arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply. He remains in hospital, under arrest, but is in stable condition.

Two More Men Bailed in Drug Supply Inquiry

Police arrested two other men, aged 26 and 39, on suspicion of involvement in Class A drug supply. Both have been released on bail pending further enquiries. Their bail runs until 11 and 13 August respectively.
