Man Charged with Murder After Fatal Battersea Stabbing
Jerome Bailey, 37, has been charged with murder over the deadly stabbing of Tesfa Campbell in Battersea.
Brutal Attack in Broad Daylight
Tesfa Campbell, 40, from Croydon, was found with a single stab wound to his abdomen on Latchmere Road, SW11, at around 2.45pm on July 3. Despite being rushed to hospital, he tragically died at 7.40pm that evening.
Quick Police Action
Detectives arrested Bailey on suspicion of murder on the morning of July 7. He was formally charged on July 8 and is set to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court the same day.
Others Caught Up in Investigation
- A 26-year-old woman, arrested for assisting an offender, has been bailed until early August.
- A 23-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man are also under investigation but have been released without charges for now.
