A 23-year-old man has been charged following a wave of sexual assaults across Newham and Waltham Forest. Abdallah Baballah, with no fixed address, was hit with serious charges on Saturday, 27 July.

- Rape on 1 July in Plaistow South, Newham
- Attempted rape near Leyton Underground on 6 July
- Rape on 6 July at Amethyst Road, Waltham Forest
- Attempted rape on 11 July in Central Park Road, East Ham
- Four robbery counts linked to these incidents
Remanded in Custody
Baballah has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at 1 Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 29 July. Police continue to investigate the assaults as they urge anyone with information to come forward.
