Man Charged with Murder in Bristol Horror
A man has been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of 32-year-old Martin Hefferman in Bradley Stoke, Bristol.
Late-Night Attack Shakes Quiet Neighbourhood
The brutal incident unfolded at around 3:20am on Saturday at a home in Honeysuckle Close. Emergency services rushed to the scene after reports of a critical injury, but despite their efforts, Martin Hefferman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Suspect Remanded in Custody
Lee Llewellyn, from Froomshaw Road in Stapleton, appeared before Bristol Magistrates’ Court today. He was subsequently remanded in custody pending further proceedings.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
“Specially-trained officers will support the victim’s family and keep them updated throughout this investigation,” said Detective Inspector Mark Newbury of the Major Crime Investigation Team.
A police cordon remains in place as inquiries continue, with an increased police presence reported in the area. DI Newbury thanked neighbours for their patience, warning that the probe could take several days.
