An Estonian man spun a web of lies to cover up a brutal murder – but the truth caught up with him. Kirill Belorusov, living in London, was jailed for life today (Friday, 4 October) after fatally strangling his ex-girlfriend and burying her in her own garden.

Belorusov was sentenced to a minimum of 24 years for the shocking killing of Laureline Garcia-Bertaux at her home in Kew, west London, back in March.
