Monster Man Jailed for Groping Disabled Woman at London Hospital

Sexual Assault Shocks St Mary’s Hospital

A 35-year-old man has been locked up after brazenly sexually assaulting a woman in a wheelchair at St Mary’s Hospital, London. The terrifying attack took place on February 6 when Mukhtar Jama targeted the female patient as she was being wheeled back to her ward.

Snapping into action, Jama first kissed the woman’s hand before shamelessly groping her breasts, taking advantage of her vulnerability.

Swift Police Response and Arrest

Police quickly responded to reports from the Paddington hospital on Praed Street and arrested Jama, who lives in Hayes. He later admitted the sexual assault charges during court proceedings.

Repeat Offender with Troubling Past

At Southwark Crown Court, shocking details emerged. Jama has four previous convictions for similar offences, all involving groping strangers in public — including one inside a hospital. Despite his defence lawyer Rebecca Martin revealing Jama suffers brain damage from a 2019 traffic accident, the Judge ruled this did not excuse his actions.

Judge Christopher Hehir said Jama was aware of what he was doing and maintained self-control during the attacks.

One Year Behind Bars for Predatory Behaviour

Due to the severity and repeated nature of the assaults, Judge Hehir handed down a one-year prison sentence. He warned the public about the danger Jama poses and ruled immediate custody was needed to protect vulnerable women.

This chilling case highlights the critical importance of protecting vulnerable patients within healthcare settings and sends a stark warning to anyone who thinks they can get away with such vile crimes.
