Man Stabbed in Broad Daylight on SE18 Street
Police rushed to Powis Street, SE18, just before 3pm today after London Ambulance Service reported a stabbing. Officers and London’s Air Ambulance quickly arrived on the scene.
Victim in His 20s Taken to Hospital – Injury Not Life-Threatening
The victim, believed to be in his twenties, was treated at hospital. Thankfully, sources say his injuries are not life-threatening.
Attack Started on Barnard Place Before Victim Reached Powis Street
Early investigations reveal the stabbing happened on nearby Barnard Place. The victim then made his way to Powis Street where police found him.
Man Arrested, Police Appeal for Witnesses
A suspect is in police custody, arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. A crime scene remains in place as detectives dig deeper.
