A Bexhill man has been charged following a serious collision involving a red Mini and a moped last month.
Crash at Woodsgate Park Leaves Teen with Serious Injuries
Police were called to Woodsgate Park at 7.40pm on Friday, 22 May after reports of a crash between a red Mini and a moped. The moped rider, a 16-year-old boy from Bexhill, suffered serious facial injuries and required urgent medical treatment.
Driver Flees Scene but Police Track Down Suspect
The driver of the Mini initially fled the scene. An appeal for witnesses was issued, prompting the public to come forward with information.
Sam Hannah to Face Court on Dangerous Driving Charges
Sam Hannah, 33, a horticulturist from Newlands Avenue, Bexhill, has been summonsed to appear at hastings/" title="Hastings" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Hastings Magistrates’ Court on 9 December. He faces multiple charges including causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving without insurance, failing to stop, and failing to report the collision.
