Feltham Man Jake Bellfield Jailed for Dangerous Driving and Crime Cash
4 Years Behind Bars for Hit-and-Run
Jake Bellfield, 27, from Tilley Road, Feltham, was slammed with a 4-year prison sentence at Isleworth Crown Court on January 7, 2020. He pled guilty to serious injury by dangerous driving and possession of criminal property. On top of that, he’s banned from driving for four years.
£13,500 Crime Cash Found in Feltham
Back on November 9, 2017, police executed a warrant in Feltham and uncovered £13,515 in cash, believed to be crime profits. Bellfield was later arrested and charged with possession of criminal property.
Hit Pedestrian, Flee the Scene
In December 2017, Bellfield was involved in a shocking road rage incident. He crashed into a pedestrian, leaving them with two broken wrists and facial cuts, then fled the scene without a second thought.
On the Run, Caught on Christmas
After the charges, Bellfield vanished abroad. But on Christmas Day 2019, officers from West Area Proactive Team 3 tracked him down and arrested him. PC Matt Hunt slammed Bellfield:
“Bellfield did his best to evade capture from the crimes that he had committed and also did not spare a thought for the pedestrian that he hit with his vehicle. I am hoping that the victim can now move on from this horrific incident, now he has been captured and convicted.”
