Man Hurt in Ramsgate Assault – Witnesses Urgently Needed
A man in his 50s suffered head injuries during an assault in Ramsgate last week. Police are hunting for witnesses to help crack the case.
Attack Near Bus Stop on Margate Road
The victim was out walking with a woman and child at around 3.45pm on Thursday, 9 December 2021. As they passed a bus stop near Allenby Road, a scuffle broke out with another man.
The attacker was spotted wearing a black hooded top or coat. Both men apparently knew each other.
Suspect Arrested but Free on Bail
The injured man was treated at a local hospital. Meanwhile, cops arrested a 38-year-old Ramsgate man on suspicion of assault. He has since been released on bail until 2 January 2022.
