Man in his 60s Found Dead After Shock Fire on Albion Road
Early Morning Blaze Tragedy
Emergency services were scrambled at 4.30 a.m. to a fire at a property on Albion Road, N16. Police, the London Ambulance Service, and the London Fire Brigade rushed to the scene, where they found a man in his 60s dead.
No Other Victims, Investigation Underway
There were no other people involved in the incident. Assistant Inspector Adam Bright confirmed the man was found injured and on fire outside the residence. Despite efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Treat Death as Unexplained but Not Suspicious
The Metropolitan Police have established a crime scene while investigations continue. Formal identification is pending as officers work to notify the man’s next of kin.
“Earlier this morning, police, LAS, and LFB were dispatched to Albion Road in response to a fire outside a residence,” said Assistant Inspector Adam Bright. “Unfortunately, a male was discovered dead at the scene. There were no other people involved, but the investigation is still ongoing and is being led by CID.”
