Two Men Charged Over Tower Hamlets Murder
Two men have been charged following the brutal killing of 23-year-old Alimuz Zaman in Tower Hamlets.
Alimuz Zaman Murder: Arrests Made
Alimal Islam, 19, of Burgess Street, and Mofizur Rahman, 19, of Wallwood Street, were charged with murder on Thursday, 30 May. Both also face charges of grievous bodily harm against a 25-year-old victim.
Remanded in Custody Awaiting Trial
The pair appeared at 1 Magistrates’ Court on the same day and were remanded in custody. They are due to appear at the Old Bailey, with the date yet to be confirmed.
Two Others Bailed
Police arrested two additional men, both aged 23, in connection with the case on Monday, 27 May. These suspects have been released on bail and are due to return in late June.
