Drug Bust in Maidstone: Cops Nab Four in Cocaine Sting
Police from Maidstone Town Centre Task Force made a big catch on the evening of Wednesday, July 6, 2022. They spotted a suspicious car on Hardy Street around 8 p.m. and decided to stop it. Their hunch paid off when a search uncovered cocaine, cash, and mobile phones inside. Two men in the vehicle were promptly detained on suspicion of drug trafficking.
£8,000 Worth of Cocaine Found in Town Centre House
The investigation heated up as officers searched a nearby house linked to the men. Inside a safe, they found around £8,000 worth of cocaine alongside more cash. A 35-year-old woman present at the property was arrested on the spot.
Another Haul and More Arrests in Tenterden
The search moved to a Tenterden address where police uncovered a second safe stuffed with roughly £10,000 in cash. Two more suspects—one man and one woman—were caught and detained at the scene.
Key Suspect Charged, Others on Bail
Dusan, 32, of High Street, Tenterden, faces charges of possession of cocaine with intent to supply and possession of criminal property related to the seized cash. On July 8, he appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court and was remanded to Maidstone Crown Court for a hearing on August 5.
Meanwhile, two men (41 and 18) and two women (36 and 35) were released on bail. They must return to the police station on July 30 for further questioning.
