Man, 24, Critical After Car Flips in East London Horror Crash
A 24-year-old man is fighting for his life after his car overturned in a serious smash in East London on Monday night.
Crash Rocks Noel Road Junction
The horror collision happened at the junction of Noel Road and Newham Way (E13) at 8.28pm on 30 June. Police were called after reports that a vehicle had smashed into a bollard and a tree before flipping onto its roof.
Emergency services raced to the scene, with London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance teams providing urgent care. The driver suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to hospital for emergency treatment.
Police Launch Urgent Appeal
The Metropolitan Police are now hunting witnesses and dash cam footage to piece together what happened.
“Anyone with information that could assist police, including any dash cam footage, is asked to call 101 or contact @MetCC on X, quoting CAD 7957/30JUNE,” a spokesperson said.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
Location Confusion Adds to Mystery
Conflicting reports suggest the smash might have happened on Mahrinda Way near Roman Court — not Noel Road as initially stated by police.
We’ve contacted the Met Police press office for clarification but decided not to delay publishing the appeal for dashcam footage, given the urgency.
We’ll update readers as soon as the exact location is confirmed.
