Gravesend Man Banned After Blowing More Than Double the Drink-Drive Limit
Shock Breath Test
Marcel Soare, 37, from Vale Road, Gravesend, got caught red-handed drink-driving in Maidstone on 8 January 2022. When pulled over, he blew a massive 90 microgrammes of alcohol per 100ml of breath—well over the legal limit of 35.
Harsh Penalties Hit Hard
On 1 February 2022, Maidstone Magistrates’ Court sentenced Soare. He was slapped with a 24-month driving ban. Plus, he must complete 50 hours of unpaid work within a year.
Fines Add to the Pain
To top it off, Soare faces a £95 surcharge and £85 in court costs. He admitted causing danger to other road users by driving while over the limit, showing there’s no excuse for drink-driving.
