Man Nabbed Carrying Machete on Kent Street
Kent Police rushed to Cobham Rise at 1.50pm on Wednesday, 4 January 2022, after reports of a man brandishing a machete while walking down the road.
Swift Police Action Leads to Arrest
Officers quickly arrived on the scene and arrested the suspect. During the stop, they seized a knife and a stash of cannabis.
Local Man Faces Court Over Knife and Drugs Charges
Harvie Pearson, 19, from Eastcourt Lane, Gillingham, was charged with possessing a knife in public and possession of a Class B drug.
He has been bailed to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 3 February.
