Van Hijack Horror on Wincheap Industrial Estate
A man in his forties had a shock on Cotton Road, Wincheap industrial estate, just after 3pm on Tuesday, January 24, 2023.
He was sitting in a parked van when a stranger forced the door open and threatened him with violence. The thug then made off with the keys—not just for the van, but for two other vehicles too.
Suspect and Accomplices on the Loose
The suspect didn’t act alone. He was followed by two others—a man and a woman—as they vanished towards Cow Lane.
Police Release Suspect Descriptions
- Main suspect: White man, 35-40 years old, around 6ft 2in tall, with a scruffy short ginger beard. He wore a brown flat cap, dark coat, dark trousers, and dirty white trainers.
- Male accomplice: White man, similarly aged, 5ft 10in tall, short black beard, dark blue flat cap.
- Female accomplice: White woman, in a dark grey hooded jacket.
